The MBC channels seemed to have gone from 11938V on Nilesat 7W.

I noticed a scrolling message (In Arabic) listing the MBC channels and the freqs 12437H and 12379V, on one of the MBC channels on badr4.

If anyone can read Arabic, perhaps they could translate the message (MBC 2 11919H on 26e)

12379V and 12437H are both on AB4, so it looks like thats the end of getting those channels from Nilesat on a reasonable sized dish now. Just as well they're still on badr:)

As a matter of fact I've recently watching them on the 10th of March 2011 at 12:30 am. The only difference is that I'm from the Asia and you're may be from the Europe. Maybe the service is over for the Europe on Nilesat and Arabsat, don't know. Check its official site.

:confusedI've just tried 12437 & the channels are there but signal strength 70% quality 0%, the same as 11938. I live in the Middle East so it's nothing to do with the service being over in Europe. Anyone have any ideas/news?

Well, I would imagine (may be wrong on that) that it would be the uplink that gets jammed, so that it doesn't matter where the receiver is, as the sat is not getting the info to start with.

Still on Badr this afternoon and at present. Don't think it's anything to do with finance!

Knowing Persian and trying to understand what it says, you'll find that after the Norouz, I think, you can have or receive them on 11938, ver, 27500 on Nilesat. Robbo's right
