@william-1 can you receive anything on 11096V? 27.5 3/4 DVB-S?

Dubai One SD have a scrolling message saying they are moving to this frequency but I am not able to scan anything on it.

Thanks

Thanks I get them this morning, must not have started on that TP last night.

Hi I am only getting 22% signal quality on my setup with the Penta 85cm and SX88 for 11096V, does that sound about right for my setup anyone? It is a stable picture but maybe only just.

Where are you based?

Is your dish set to 8W or 7W?

I've optimised the dish for 8W and getting 60 quality on a BeIN Humax receiver in North West England but with a 150cm dish.

I am in Felixstowe area, ya set to 8W, hmm my BeIN 11013 V is at 22%, yours would be higher because the dish size, and maybe you are better located ...also the different receivers give different %s I know that ...so it’s gonna be difficult to compare really?!

I have a suspension mine is under but as there is no way of me climbing so high I’ll just have to stick with it I suppose. MBC2 is slightly higher at 33% on 7W ...At least I can get the channels:) just not when it rains

Yes the % doesnt mean much when comparing separate recievers.

I have an 88cm too but it's not properly on the arc at the moment so can't compare. I'll try and fix it sometime and will see how that performs here, I would expect it to be worse that you as I'm much further North.

@william-1 does the MBC 2 transponder (11276V) seem weaker to you now? Could be weather related though as skies not as clear as they have been for the last few days for me.

i'm getting about 9.5db on this, on a 1.2m - its windy today - signal strength fluctuating a little therefore. (well i think its the wind or just a atmospherics)

Is MBC2 the same for you today?

the signals all over the place for me, 5d -9db - there is a snow in the sky and its windy, need a clear day to tell whats what

For me it’s not too stable today either, seems to drop to 22% when it starts raining a little...

Thanks @manikm909 and @Sat01Uk.

Mine is well down but I'm not sure if perhaps my dish was positioned slightly off 8W and nearer 7.3W which was giving my strong signals all day on Saturday rather than a reduction in TP power.

Too far away from Scotland

I have it in at 7.7db on my 1.8m Raven in Central Scotland, Blue skies today though!
