i have a Mediastar M9900 2CI receiver , which was brought from the middle east, i want to upgrade it,
does anyone knows anything about that receiver?

i need a help , i have searched everywhere in the web for a software for my receiver which is mediastar M9900, but i did not get any software..
so now i want to know one thing that , can i use any other software flash to my receiver ?

this receiver is having
2 CI slots
20 pins Jtag slot
Omega STi5512AWE (CPU) --U2
M28W800CT (FLASH) --U6

so i want to ask that can i JTAG this receiver with any firmware of this 5512 chipset or can i try , is it safe to again write the same software which i can read with the jtag interface?
should i try ? if yes which firmware can i use ?

please help me..

i also tried it sometime back but there i did not get any help on my M9900ci
i think we cannot get any help on this receiver...
