Mini City Chat thread.

Can I just ask, what does that special link do? :confused:
 
I found it on a minicity forum, it seems that it just looks at the stats and links to what the city needs.

Although I am wondering if it does something else also, if it does, it doesn't look like it has a negative effect.
 
Seems to work nicely, we hardly ever have negative % on anything anymore.

That odd I only ever saw % of zero and greater than zero except for transport which was always 100% :P

That's right Zorba that is the place I found a few nights ago, then I upgraded Firefox and it zapped all my history so I lost it, lots of the threads on the various mycity forums mention this as a good way to increase the growth of the city, The problem with that is that you have to monitor it otherwise you can go into meltdown, TBH the method being used at the moment seems to keep us on track very well, there has been some amazing progress since the pop halved
 
I have discovered an alternative method of growing a city quickly. It involves using a program called CMC City booster. You provide it with a list of anonymous proxy servers, and it tries them all out, and Intelligently adds to the city. I tried it out on a test city TW2 and just managed to get 6 hits from my PC.:)
The difficulty is finding enough Proxy servers that work, and that haven't been blacklisted by the minicity admin.

You can set it for auto so it knows what the city needs,transport or factories etc.You click one of their links and you get return visits instantly.Its all in French but you just register and do a google translate to work out the rest.
Also all the other minicity links are other countries so they don't affect our city.
 
How do you get it to work zorba?I am not getting an option to put in a non-french minicity.
 
just type in satellitesuk. the french language equivalent is .fr when you get to the minicity page its all in french,then click on the union jack then it changes to .com and in english

Yes, lost nearly half of our population due to over industrialisation, think it's time to call it a day, no point if script muppets can decimate your population in such a short period of time.
 
Yep, time to call it a day. It could have been a nice thing, but as always when there are idiots with cheats around they spoil everything
 
It's really sad that some people get off on making a friendly competition into a net war.
 
I expect that most of you have forgotton about the city now, but it is now it is now in 50th position.:)
