Listen Up MIS Multistream Channels: Easy Reference

Owing to the ever increasing availability of Multistream capable Receivers and the relative difficulty in filtering the major listings sites to identify what MIS TPs there are across the arc, some kind soul has done the hard work:

You cannot enter PLS root as this is a reading not a setting,
Just add the known frequency & symbol rate then scan for single transponder in Multi-Stream scan.

I cannot get a sniff off 12627 but other frequencies fine

Although it could be driver/software related....

If yes, check it and then
Type = Root
Code = 8

The Italian multistreams on 12.5W were replicated on Eutelsat 5WA yesterday, so all the French and Italian multistream channels are now on 5W. This will be a good test of whether the Edision etc can tune new multistreams itself, or whether it'll need a software update.

12543H S2/8PSK 34200 8/9 - streams 33, 34, 35, 36 (includes DMAX Italia, NOVE HD, Spike Italia, VH1 Italia, TV8, Cielo, Paramount, TG24 etc)

The Italian multistreams on 12.5W were replicated on Eutelsat 5WA yesterday, so all the French and Italian multistream channels are now on 5W. This will be a good test of whether the Edision etc can tune new multistreams itself, or whether it'll need a software update.

The Octagon SX88 can scan this with blind scan and multistream turned on. 5w now has most of the Italian DTT channels, theres a few missing from channel 60+, these are either carried on 12.5w or not at all.

The duplicated (from 12.5W) Telecom Italia Channels on 5W 12543 H underwent an SR and FEC change to 36510 2/3 at some point in the last couple of days.

They then became inactive yesterday afternoon and remain absent today.

No further reports, as yet.

At 5W, '20 Mediaset HD' and 'Mediaset Extra HD' have appeared on 12606V stream 2 (8PSK, 35000, 2/3, root8). Canale 5 HD has moved across to 12627H stream 1 (8PSK, 35000, 2/3, root8). Lots of changes due to Mediaset Premium's new offering, and Mediaset's World Cup coverage being split across Canale 5, Italia 1, 20 Mediaset, and Mediaset Extra.
