Missing Chanells

Hi i am missing BBC1, i dont know why it just dissapeared! I am useing a pace sky digital box(model number BSKYB 250083) and have no card just watch it for the free channels (ITV,C4 & C5 come and go - well it says insert your card when they appear)
I think i may need a software upgrade, can i do it my self? what do i need a rs232 lead?

What message are you getting when you go to 101, and what is your location?

That box is known for tuner faults so if it’s a no signal message it could be that (of course it could be a faulty LNB not switching to low band or something, bad dish alignment and so on, best way to check all that is to try your box on another dish that you know works, like a friend who has Sky)
 
What happens if you select BBC1 from another region, eg BBC1 London on channel 944?
