missing channels on freesat

Can someone please help me please. I have just installed freesat dish and receiver pointing @ Astra 2 abd and the receiver is saying 90 percent signal strength and 73 percent picture quality (which seem to best signals I can get). However I don't seem to be able to get channels like BBC or ITV etc. but get 173 other channels such as films4men etc. Can anyone suggest what I can do?

You may have got the dish half a degree or so too far east, meaning you get the Eurobird signals from 28.5E but are just out of alignment for 28.2E.

And/or you may have failed to skew the LNB 11 degrees or so clockwise (looknig from LNB towards dish).

When you say "Freesat dish" , what exactly do you mean?

If it's a "Sky" dish, skew the LNB to position 3

If it's a normal dish, what LNB are you using (some of them have odd construction which causes confusion when adjusting skew)
