They are a perfect match for the Hughes but of course ..2 lnbs H & V would have to be mounted thusly ...and now I have to find a way of actually fitting the lnbs ..having no flanges at these 2 points..
I now have to remove some of the right angled fittings metal body without destroying the wave guide on at least one of them ...
(ie make flanges)

Thanks Martin ..
So here's how I'm approaching the problem ..
You can see it will take a while with hand files ..and obviously can't use a grindstone on ally ..
Plus more control with hand tools ..

Hi Vipersan,
it`s great to see your enthusiasm and will to go beyond horizon! I hope you achieve your goal as soon as possible.
By the way, here`s an example that there is also another way. This is how my friend Peon does it. The pictures show a few OMTs he can play with. Unfortunately, he`s a very busy man, so there`s not enough time. The progress is slow, but he will get there sooner or later! Sometimes it is very hard to decide whether to play with Ku, C or Ka band.... and S and X band LNBs are also at his place waiting for the D-Day. He`s testing c band lnbs atm, but that`s another story...

Looks like your friend has a good selection of feeds and angles to experiment with ..
That was the problem for me ..
Just didn't have the luxury of a good scrap box to dig in ..
So got 2 of these right angles from Israel cheaply enough ..and now have to fit them to the hughes OMT ..just like the one Peon has ,,
If money was no object ..I could rig up anything ..but working on a very tight budget ..I have to make things do the job ..
Give my regards to Peon ..Reading about lots of his experiments has proved very useful in my experiments..

Ok ..went back and did another ..
I think 2 may be sufficient at diagonal corners as adding more may weaken the right angle structure ..
Here is one fitted to the OMT ..thus freeing up the other port for a second opposite polarity lnb..

All power to you VS, some neat ideas there :D

Will have to go back and see some of your mods - thinking of getting a Hughes LNB for some tinkering.
