iv had a dish pointing at 13e for a while now so decided to put a monoblock on it. i put the left hand side lnb in the craddle (looking from the front of the dish) and the other hanging to the right which you would think is 19e but when i scanned it there was nothing and i noticed that 9e was giving a signal so my 6 degree has gone the other way any ideas what i am doing wrong cheers

You need to put the monoblock on so that the rhs is in the holder and the lhs is hanging off.

The furthest East LNB will pick up the more Westerly satellite and vice versa, bear in mind that the dish is a reflector. So looking at the dish from the LNB, the right hand LNB should be in the clamp if the dish is aligned to Hotbird 13E, then the left hand LNB should be rotated slightly higher and will automatically pick up 19 East on an 80 or 90cm dish, results may not be so clear cut on a smaller dish.

You will also need to change your DiSEqC settings, 13E as you have it set up at present is on the other left hand LNB and you need to be telling the receiver that its on the right hand LNB..

Your dish is on 13e, so the one in the holder will pick up that, the offset will pick up 19e.

There are 3 degree versions, especially produced for 16E, it sounds like you have one of them.

Totally confused now, is it a 6 degree monobloc, or 3 degree monobloc?
