motorhome help!

Hi, firstly i don't know a lot about satellite reception, so please be gentle with me, i have just puchased a "WINEGARD" crank up dish for my motorhome from the USA on ebay, now the question is ,,, will this dish be compatable with my uk reciever unit? the seller emailed me to tell me there may be a difference, any info would be most welcome. Jamie

The lnb on the dish probably needs changing - many Yank services use circular polarisation - Europe uses linear - (horizontal / vertical).
