Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Before I start again few questions

1 - best sat to align
2 - Dish elevation to set
3 - Dish attached to stub position low , middle or up
1 - we've already told you!
2 - Ditto - but don't forget there are two settings involved: elevation (motor on mast), declination (dish on motor stub).
3 - probably in the middle or maybe a bit lower

Done it
30 W - 42 E
Still get 52 E but have to push dish towards east a bit
Motor is not going another 1 degree east
I think it’s limited
If I can change the limit on the motor that will be perfect
Can I change the limit a bit :Y
Getting 30,15,5,7 & 0.8 west
5,7,9,13,19 & 42 east

Ref post #65, see my post #45 - when on Thor (0.8W) you then need to move the dish to 0.2E (i.e 0.8 -1 degree), and then re-peak the elevation &/or possibly the declination.

Don't know about the s/w or h/w limits on the TM dish - others will know more.

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC
My Location
Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
A horizon to horizon (HtoH) motors hard limits are usually set to 90 degrees East, and 90 degrees West of zero, these are set internally on some motors, others have external set screws, these normally should not be adjusted, and should only be adjusted if you have a wall or other hard object in the way.

The soft limits are set in the receiver setup menu, I would recommend you look at the dish to see if anything would be in the way if you set the soft limits higher in one direction or the other.

I sent my TM2600 back as it wouldn't go past 53e, software limits were set to off & the manual button wouldn't send it any further. Must be hardware limited.

Mine is not going to 52e
It’s two nudge short
Can be done if I adjust limiter

Probably, but warranty will be nullified if you have to break the sticker to adjust the limits.

But according to manual you can adjust it
Open the bolt remove the stub then you can see it
Look the pic.

If according to the manual for your motor, it's hardware stop limits are preset to 70 degrees east and west, and you cant get it to go to 53 East or 52 East then something is wrong in the receiver's setup or the dish and motor were not properly aligned to DUE SOUTH in the first place.

From your location if the system was setup correctly you should be able to scan from 70 East to 70 West without problems.

Goto as far East as you can go, then look at the bottom of the motor, if it's at 52 degrees and wont move further, then something is set wrong in the receiver, if it's further East then 55 or 60 degrees East, or at the East hard stop of 70 degrees then something is wrong with the motor.

If I had received that motor then - given those hardware limits - I would do the same

Take off stub, peel back sticker, hardware limits from factory:

Loosen hardware limiters, half a turn of the screw was enough, you feel them loosen, slide all the way round and tighten:

Usals wouldn't send it past 60e (some kind of 60 degree limit with usals?)
F16CD657-2339-485D-896A-E59A192AE468.jpeg

Diseqc 1.2 or manual button allows it to go this far, much further than usals:

Moral of the story is adjust hardware limits, and use diseqc 1.2 for the further out sats if you need too
