Mounting advice needed - 1M motorised dish

I need advice on where to buy the pole needed to mount a 1M motorised dish onto a brick wall with T & K brackets.

I had it installed by an installer. However with just the L-Angle mount, I don’t feel confident of the gale force winds also as it’s a lengthy L to allow the dish clearance from the wall. I feel it’s probably affects stability.

I just thought I best make that temporary, I can source the T & K brackets but I don’t know where I should be looking for the pole. Is there any hardware store I can buy from?

Other questions I'm wondering about:
Should I try To locate so it’s not exposed from the side and covered by the wall or does that not make much difference wind wise as it’s off the side of the house at the minute.
What clearance should the T and K be From the wall

Thank you appreciate that as I didn’t want to look around scrap yard or other things I heard but I didn’t know what I needed thickness wise, material etc. That is very helpful and took away a lot of stress, think I will be ordering just do they need to be galvanised are these likely to be as I don’t know anything regarding metals, I might send them an email and ask. Very helpful. Appreciated. :).
 
The "scaffold" poles on that site are alloy (which is why I believe they put scaffold in inverted commas, a scaffold pole is usually galvanised steel) so shouldn't corrode. They also sell galvanised T&K brackets. Non-galvanised will be fine but will rust after a while. I would go for galvanised if possible.
 
Try looking at your local hardware store that carries eletrical conduit, I use 50mm (you can go larger if you need to) galvanized rigid conduit, (the thick walled stuff) it's very strong. I have gone 20 feet above the roof in some cases.(it comes in 10 foot lengths with threaded a coupling here state side)
 
thats a lot of tension on a few bricks - i have brackets and poles - where r u located?
 
It should be fine, obviously thicker is stronger but as long as the pole above the top of the upper bracket is as short as possible there shouldn't be an issue. Mounting the motor between the brackets is also an option.
 
Thanks for all the help guys guiding me in right direction. That is resolved for me now, will enquire about 4mm just because.
If not will go with 3.2 and be sensible with length and application :).
Edit: I was able to get 4mm 5ft for under £10 but I think I’m going to go with a bit longer and going to collect tomorrow :).

what about your T & Ks
 
Check your local Facebook marketplace . There's usually someone practically giving them away
 
I've a pair of large T&K's to get rid of FOC in W.London - non-structural rust and should clean up OK. PM if interested.
