Being left handed, I can cope with most things in a right handed world. However, the mouse pointer bugs me. To me, it appears to be leaning backwards.

So, does anyone know of a download, cursor site, or even a way of 'flipping' the mouse pointer? Thats to make the arrow face right not left.

1. What's a Mouse?

2. Google(UK) Left Handed Mouse Pointer brings up lots of choice, oddly, as being a Southpaw myself it has never occurred to me that it could be a problem!

But clearly you are not a loon.

It's not a problem (pleased to hear you are a fellow 'cuddy wifter') just it seems like I want to lean my head to the left as I naturally sit with my left shoulder forward and the pointer appears backwards. A little like being at school and having to adopt a claw like grip on your fountain pen to avoid smudging your writing, you cope fine but instinctively it doesn't feel right. I'll Goggle a little deeper.

FWIW : Although left handed, I hold a cricket bat and golf club right handed and play guitar right handed (though some would say I could improve by trying with my left)

That's the thing - all lefties cope differently: I play Golf and Cricket left-handed, but Shoot right-handed and do many other "natural" tasks right-handed.

But I've been observing my own Pointer (Sad, isn't it, Matron?) and it's beginning to bug me.

What have you started!

Sorry!!

The very rare times I've picked up a rifle it's been natural to use it left handed. Ambidexterous when using a screwdriver or spanner though. I do find can openers a complete pain however.

The pointer problem is just as you would point everyday, object on right, point with left hand (at least thats how I point). To me the pointer seems awkward and doesn't flow across the screen. I think senility is creeping in!

Success!!!!

Found some on Tucows. Feel better now!!

If you have XP or other Widows OS and are using a Logitech mouse you can go to mouse property's in the control panel and select "Lefty by Logitech" it switches over to "Southpaw" orientation of all mouse pointers and thingamajigs....:-beer

Thanks, but it's not a Logitech mouse. Anyway, I'm all sorted now (no more cricked necks).
