hi, i'm new to all this, so please take it easy...

just looking for some advice.

I currently live with my parents. we have sky multi room installed at home, but i'm moving out soon.
i'm planning on taking my digi box with me, and installing it at my new place, and still paying the monthly subscription to my parents, while they keep sky installed at home.

basically, just moving the multi room to about a mile away!!!

will it work????!!!?!?!?!!?!?!
 
For a short while ............

Once Sky determine that both Boxes are not connected to the same phone line, you'll get "a letter". If the situation persists, you'll end up with the full cost being levied.
 
none of the boxes have been plugged into any phone lines... unplugged both of them, soon after they were installed??!!
 
Multi-room requires an operational phone connection as said.

Call them, tell them you want a second hand box contract and you won't need the connection...although you would pay full subscription.

Multiroom is actively policed to ensure there is no abuse of subsidised Cards.

All systems have their shortcomings, though .............
 
ok thanks. so its worth re locating it to my new house, even if i only get a few months out of it??!!?!?
