Just doing a scan of my eastern sats and I noticed the MTN tp, which is normally located on Intelsat 903 at 34.5w and in global spot beam has moved to Intelsat 707 at 53w. 10 channels scan in but the only one itc is MTN:

4044 H 7199

Hello Costactc,

no signal for me with 4.9m Mesh on Intelsat 707 @53°W with cirkular polarisation in Germany. Maybe "MTN" package on 4044 (R/L ?) is transmitted from "West hemi" beam?

Best Regards
qwer.

I looked for this earlier as well but no surprise I didn't see it if you can't on your monster 4.9m Qwer! One thing that distracted me though was Africable was stronger with my plate out. Not sure if this is a peculiarity of my dish and feed but it's not something I've noticed before. I'll test it again later this evening.

Signal strength is quite strong here, must be a western spotbeam if your not picking it up with a 4.9m dish.

Thanks Costactc! MTN package still on air on Intelsat 903 @34.5°W.

Best Regards
qwer.
