I've got it focused on 13e fine but I'm trying to add 19.2e. How far to the left (stood infront of the dish looking towards it) do I need to put the lnb and does it need to be higher than the other?

Up here in central Scotland I managed this on a Fortec Star 65cm, the LNB holder for 19E was touching the focus LNB, down there on such a small dish I would say it wouldnt be any further than 1 cm apart each others holders.

Tried it and picked channels up some though bouncing from 9/26/42% roughly still got a signal tho. Problem Is everytime I move it I knock the 13e out! And a fair trape up and down the garden to see the image. Still enrol the wife tomorrow to shout back at me (she loves it) hopefully increase it tomoz. Thanks for getting back to me.

Try focusing on 19e

Can you upload a picture? The LNBs will probably need to be touching or near, also, the 19.2E LNB will need to be slightly higher than the 13E. As fergyc suggests, try focussing on 19.2E as the central LNB, as the signal is not quite as strong.

Yes I would imagine on that size dish they will be touching. You can of course try narrow neck LNB's. Get your focal LNb set up correctly and nip up the bolts on the dish. Then place and make adjustments to the offset LNb.

Ok cheers will have a dabble when I get home tonight.

As it is focal 13e both lnbs virtually touching same height think I may have to raise 19.2e a little

Thanks

Cheers boys had to raise the 19.2e a little now hitting 70%

Thanks alot

Good to hear, suggested that because that's how mine's setup. Slightly larger dish though, but it works.

I've got sky italia but I can't open sport 1 (2 &3 fine) same on calcio some fine some don't open. I've rescanned the satellite still no joy. Thought 70% would be fine & strange how it opens some & not others

I haven't checked on flysat (other listing sites are available!), but are the ones you can open of the opposite Polarisation to those you can't?

ie Have you skewed the offset LNB correctly?

Maybe you could list a few channels you cannot receive and their frequencies.

And duly received whilst perched on the :-toilet

Its on the focal lnb 13e
Sky sport 1 hd freq 11996
Sky calcio 1 HD freq 12418
Sky calcio 2 HD freq 12418
Sky calcio 5 HD freq 11843
sky calcio 6 HD freq 11843
Sky calcio 7 HD freq 11996

Ok, but same principle applies ............... is the skew correctly adjusted?

(The channel list you give still omits the essential parameter H or V).

Been out just and slowly turned it both ways maximum I got was 72% which its on and still the same. I used dishpointer for reference

Ok, I've checked them myself (got me out of doing the washing-up!) and the common factor is they are all V polarity and 29900 SR and DVB S2/8PSK

Have you catered for

a. Skew

b. SR 29900 (Is your Rx actually capable?)

c. Modulation (S2/8PSK)

Edit: Crossed with your reply re. Skew

I'm not sure what b & c is? But I know I've had this working before I added another lnb (19.2e). I've kept 13e as the focal so it should still be ok.
I did move it about adding the new bracket & lnb but generally kept it the same.
P.s I wish I could get out of washing-up :0)
