Multi lnb on 65cm Ross dish

b. and c. are parameters of those Transponders that, if not correctly set/stored, will give the effect you describe viz. Decent Signal showing on meter but no video/audio.

Sometimes channels change parameters and you need to edit or re-scan.

I don't have an Openbox so you'll have to find the Hotbird TP lists for yourself and check all those parameters are correct.

Chances are one of them isn't .....................
 
Just an update I noticed that some of the parameters was incorrect 27500 instead of 29900 (I think they was) so i changed and searched. Still same. Give up went bed. Got up today all fine. Probably just needed rebooting.....probably forgot to do that as I was trying to do it inbetween add-breaks on the missus channels to the sound of tuts and snarls haha

So thanks up on the advice & information I'm only just getting into this satellite hobby and gone from normal uk sat to 28.2/13/19.2e and wouldn't have had a clue without people like you guys

That's a good outcome - fits the symptoms and diagnosis nicely and everybody's happy.

The learning curve gets shallower but never stops!

Always something new.

BTW, the tuts and snarls can often be cured with a Chocolate Eclair.
