Multi LNB Set up on a Sky Dish

I have to brace the arms here too - its so ruddy windy here the dishes wont stay straight even with the bolts cranked hard down. A few pieces of wood zip tied from the lnb arm to the surrounding supports works wonders :)

It’s looks like a dish jungle
How do you decide which one to watch

Wait a minute, I will go out and count mines. No, it is too dark outside ATM.

"Somewhat" similar here! - it's more a case of the "journey" than the "destination"
Just today Ive logged a new satellite slot by tinkering, ( & also discovered the 9/10E dish has moved so that needs fettling again)

why dont we have a competition for dish numbers
can we add on arc competition

Very few folks on the forum have more than a couple of dishes. I think Ive got 6 up atm although 1 isnt currently doing anything except getting the neighbours used to that bit of the pole having something attached to it :)

Ive got at least another 6 stashed in the garage of various sizes from 40cm to 85 cm

I have 6 in use and another 4 resting in the shed.

Can anyone recommend a good pole and bracket for a zone1/2 dish? Ideally heavy duty and wallet friendly.

Zone 1 & 2 dishes come with a bracket that works perfectly well for a fixed installation.

Forgot to add, I need something at least 4 to 5 feet.

I've looked at these
TV Aerial Fixing Kit Wall

But they don't mention if they're galvanised.

I'm wondering if that type of bracket is ok, or if I should go and get a TK bracket.

Described as "Alloy" actually means it's aluminium alloy - so it won't be galvanised!

Also, that's just the pole, and doesn't include any brackets.

BTW, if you are going to all this trouble then maybe even consider a "conventional" 70cm elliptical dish as it may easier to fit a 3x LNB setup to that?

thanks, this is for a second dish I'm looking to put up that would be pointing at 42e.

Can I get a zone 1/2 dish and a motorised dish on the same pole or is that just asking for trouble? Ideally a 50mm pole
