My Satellite Setup
receiver : silvercrest SL65 FTA astra 28.2 ,hispasat 30w .....4way diseqc switch
2meg broadband

hi guys jst thought i would share with you my basic setup . hispasat30w on the left and astra 28.2 onthe right. hope to add another dish in the middle somewhere soon so i can receive hotbird and astra 19.2 sometime soon. i also have 3 questions
1.any suggestions on how to add another lnb on to this type of dish would be great as i cant seem to find a multi lnb holder for it.....
2... also do you any of u think the wall in front of the 30w dish is to close ,could this be whats causing the breakup of channels on 1d especially russia today and Solidaria TV...
3. should i have 22khz switched on i have 4way diseqc switch

Nice install.

Should be able to use a universal LNb bracket for a 9° offset feed.
 
thanks for the reply could u send me a link as i cant seem to find one anywhere ...also any ideas on my 2nd questions thanks for the quick reply
 
Ref Q2. If that cat is anything like the cats round here, it has p*ssed on your LNB (LOL)
If you have marginal reception of 30west, lifting the dish higher on its pole might solve your problem. Or even fix it to that wooden beam on the side of the building to get it higher.

thanks for ur reply nuke i may well try that, i only did it like that cause i didnt have a spare bracket
