Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Just a generic name for metal dishes, pots and pans etc., so I suppose a satellite dish may come under that monicker.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Ingenuity at it's best, 2 upside-down dishes in that pic (and I too count 7 dishes, maybe a few more in the background, but I guess it's the foreground we're to focus on...:D ), I really should try that for myself... :D

Nah, they're all woks. The satellite dishes are inside being used in the communal kitchens :-doh2

I make it 7 as well - 5 at the back and the 2 prime focus on the roof. I take it that its never very windy there - those PF's are not anchored down very well.

Looking again at the pic, I see what you mean, it looks like they're held down with paving slabs or something similar, not exactly very heavy ones either...:eek:

by this fixing method i can turn aroung the disks easily whenever i want to recerve other c-band satellite channels:)
