Thanks for the info Huevos, what DB levels would i need to get a lock using the duo on the 8psk transponders?
 
Don't know about Duo but on Uno I need at least 54% SNR on Canal+ HD channels from 1W to get a lock.

Like CJ says, for a 3/4 8PSK transponder you need 54% SNR on the Duo. You only need 32% SNR for a 3/4 QPSK transponder. In that range going up one dish size gets you about 7% more SNR. On my 28E setup changing from a 1.5m to 1.8m took me from 40% to 47% on 10788V, and from 47% to 55% on 10847V. Your SNR range in your post above is 31% to 50% so at a guess the 8PSK transponders are going to be somewhere between these two values as well. The middle point between the two is 40% so let's just pretend that is the current level of your HD channels. That would mean you need to pick up at least 14% SNR, which is two dish sizes. So maybe going to a 1.8m dish might do it.
