My Linux Media Centre Satellite Set-Up

I like it! Wonder if we can run a software Nagravision decryptor to see what's actually shown? Is it a real program behind there?

Im pretty sure it is the real programmes behind it yes - you can make out captions and trailers some of the time in between programmes.

I think I saw somewhere that someone had tried that but sadly the MPEG compression messed with the results too much. Might be worth a go though! :D

Adam, can the wetek pic up the multistream on 5w using its own tvheadend or do use ubuntu for that?

No I use my server with TBS cards for the Multistream. The Wetek tuners don't support it unfortunately!

Already have the zone 2 dish. It's sat with 19.2°E and 13°E on it. Not got round to re-adding 28.2 yet!
Need to fix mine, the w@nker squad that were allowed to move my multi LNB totally fudged it upon remounting on the lovely sub standard cladded wall I have now.

Thanks mate, is there a particular card that you would recommend?

Well the one I have is the TBS6905 (4 tuners) which has been a brilliant card as far as I've used it! Multistream works great with it.

thanks pal, Think thats been replaced by the 6904 from what I've read.

They're decent cards! Take a bit of setting up but once you're there with it they work absolutely great.

I have the 6905 for satellite and a TBS6281 for HD terrestrial.

Had a spare DiSEqC port (was going to be for 28.2E) and a few LNBs knocking around. A nice space on multi LNB bracket on my 5W/3.1E dish, has made 12.5W the choice.

This seems a lot stronger than it used to be! The 12718H multistreams come in fine for a couple of extra Italian DTT channels.

Hi everybody,

Id like to get the Spanish t2-mi channels from 30W. I'm using Cesbo Astra and TBS6908 for get multi input streams in PC, maybe I must use the abertis script compiled for x86? or the t2-mi code (newspaperman/t2-mi) using cesbo astra and pipes?

Can you help me with any info for guiding me?

Thank you ver much for your help.

MCelliotG was mucking about with something similar not long ago.

Abertis is not T2-MI. And after all that drama, anyone can now google the procedure... they'll find it easily!
