I have changed my dish from a Penta 85cm to a TD110, i have noticed a good increase in the signals on 16e, i can now get tring and viasat :)

Well that's great - I have a TD110 myself and adjusting one of those up a ladder is not easy. Particularly fighting with that dreadful elevation slide!

I thought it was not too bad, the location where mine is aint too bad, i can get up right next to it and lean on the wall, then just swing it around. I dont mind the hanging off the ladder part, lol

I think i have it all aligned right, I might try and give it a bit more tweeking at the weekend on a weaker transponder. Get about 94% on BBC news on 0.8W

Sounds pretty good. Certainly a nice install ;)

Well done, not an easy dish to set up.

That looks very good Oakey22. Congrats :)

dont look too great with the wiring, i need to tidy it up a little, going to be putting some cable clips in when i find them out the garage for that loose wire you can see :)

I also have now ran a cable from the mini dish to the back of my DM8000 so i can watch 28e and record on another satellite. Before i had both going to the DM8000 from the motorised dish.

She's beautiful m8 ...
..but then I am biased ..
Just Luuurv my TD110

And I love bits of your TD110.

(Otherwise, mine would be inoperable!)

I have been reading there is a mod for the lnb arm to make it better, has anyone tried this?

Never found it necessary to, just use a long LNB such the Black Ultra on it instead.

Very nice. How huge is a signal difference between Penta 85 and TD110? You should have been able to get Viasat with Penta 85 in Staffs. I am further west and south of you and can receive the majority of channels most of the time (only some HD channels don't scan in). Just make sure you have a good LNB, a sensitive tuner and a spot on alignment.

I wish Penta made a 1m version of their dishes, though.
