interestin thread this, so the OP went from 1m Gibby to a lesser brand 1.2 - and hardly any difference....im wondering how much gain i will get going from a 1m Gibby to either a 1.25 Gibby or 1.2 Laminas ....i think i'd have to get a new motor for the 1.25 Gibby - one that points upwards instead of downswards - but no change needed for the Laminas although harder and more pricey to source.
