maybe just try a few lnbs to get the best match for the dish next a few on here are using inverto black ultra due to the good results on signals

well i have just ordered Inverto Black Ultra High-Gain Single LNB from SAT EUROPA
wall mount is fixed onto wall with 3 shielded anchor bolts 10 m

:-lookyHi friends new Inverto Black Ultra High-Gain Single LNB arrived this morning at 8.30 am So here are the test results of the new lnb compared to Titanium 2nd edition lnb,Kiss TV 45 East 10% signal increase,MTV Turkey 42 East 3% signal increase,bbc world news 1 West 3% signal increase,Sky news 28.2 East 6% signal increase,26 East arabsat 3% signal increase,After fine tuning new lnb to get the strongest signals i also pushed motor back West a bit to correct position after the strong winds had moved it.Inverto Black Ultra is a big improvement a lot stronger signals on all sats :-handclap


Triple Dragon satellite spectrum analyzer 28.2 East Titanium 2nd edition lnb = 88% - 89%, Inverto Black Ultra lnb = 97.3% - 98% dBUV .

Good to see the Inverto gives an overall improvement for you. Those figures are typical of what you can expect. I have them on a couple of my dishes, both giving a good account of themselves compared to various other LNB's I've had in the past.

The Dish is moving to 45 East it almost touches the wall and its just below the guttering. Also 2 new pics of dish with new Inverto Black ultra LNB taken this afternoon.:-righton I also like the way you can see the sun's image moving across the dish in the video.

Well i got fed up of all these strong to gale force winds we keep getting.So i took the drill up with me on the ladders and drilled a hole through pole and motor bracket then went to shop and got 1 carriage bolt m6 x 100mm .Put bolt through and hand tightened nut with 10mili spanner this will now stop motor bracket moving around pole in strong to gale force winds.Also sprayed all nuts and bolts and motor with Silicone spay lubricant to stop rust and will keep everything lubricated. No need to realign motor again even after gale force winds it is now fixed to pole in correct position.This work was all done a few days ago.

Just had this installed on Friday 1.2m cdtronix dish and a new motor Navigator HD 30% faster drives up to 1.4m at very high speed Diseqc 1.3/go to x compatible.I took the other 1m dish down. This motor works best with my triple dragon also works with other Diseqc 1.2 receivers .

No this was installed by a local satellite installer not a bad price as well £65 sorted. The new motor cost me £50 from local satellite dealer.

looks good but one thing i would advise is keep an eye on the wall mount for this size dish, i hope it is strong enough.

is the 1.2m to receive viasat ?

Yes wall mount seems to be strong enough.But in strong winds installer advised to keep dish pointed far east away from side wall.He also said see how it goes and if wall mount is not strong enough he will change it for a stronger one.All from cdtronix , Dish, wall mount, lnb,and free delivery £99 .wod dish is just for a stronger signal on all satellites i can receive.

Just curious Ian why didn't you use the Inverto on the new dish? Have you been able to compare signals on any of the weaker satellites yet, how much stronger is the 1.2 over the old 1m Gibertini?

aceb yes that's the next job to do soon change lnb over to the black ultra lnb.I would guess signal levels are 4% stronger we will see for sure when i change lnb over.Arabsat signal on the installers Digipro satellite meter was 83.3% .very pleased with this new dish good quality and value for money.The black ultra lnb was still in use till Saturday morning when i took it down.

Some good results there. I did consider this dish but because I'm ont he east coast I figured a TD110 would be more than sufficient for 4.8 & Viasat.

How is the strength of the nordic beam of 4.8e on this dish over in the north west?
