I agree but at least its still working that is until i power off or go into standby on satellite receiver. :-lmao
Now here is a little story about the free delivery van driver he arrived at 1.10pm dropped off the satellite dish with lnb support arms, Box was open so i had a look inside and thought wheres the rest of it.:confused:Driver was just setting off down our street i managed to stop him and asked him if there was another parcel he said no i don't think so! I told him there must be another parcel with lnb and wall mount and nuts and bolts he then phoned his boss and he told van driver to check his delivery note papers and there was two parcels after all so he then opened his van doors and found my other parcel. :eek: :-rofl2

Hi i hacked all you need to do is store the satellite positions again,sounds like the actuator is slipping a bit.
Good news my new motor seems to be getting better four times now it has not lost its memory after being in standby and unplugged so that makes a change so it looks like this motor is finally cured must have been some kind of technical fault with motor. :-bubbly:-beer

I have managed to fine tune this new cdtronix 1.2m dish on 7.3 west Atlantic bird 7 on Cairo cinema and Cairo drama Signal is 76% picture stays on with slight breakup during the day in dry weather. From 6pm - 2am Signal is 76.5% no picture breakup at all.
It was a very small adjustment to peak the best signal by moving dish up and down a tiny bit till maximum signal was achieved on Atlantic Bird 7. :-looky :-beer

Everything is still fine with the 1.2m dish and there is an increase in signal on most satellites . So as an example Cairo Cinema on Atlantic bird 7 is now 77.3% at night and Stv on 28.2 east is 92.5% on the Triple Dragon satellite receiver.

Hi there last night i managed for the first time to receive all the MBC channels on 7.3 west so all is good.That is untill we get strong to gale force winds this makes the satellite dish shake and wobble a bit.And all these thunder storms and rain lowers the signal. :-beer
 
just curious to your results on viasat extra pl 1-7 on 4.8e
 
hi Dj skutz viasat extra pl 1-7 signal is 78.5% could probably get a bit more by tweaking dish up or down a bit then signal will be 79.3%.

I find that strange. There are people in Ireland receiving Viasat on smaller dishes than yours. Unless the signal drop-off is VERY sharp....
 
the only person receiving them channels in ireland was chris76 on a 1.5m with results of 45-55% as far as i know, its annoying because i cant get badr6 admc, so really i have a big dish doing **** all cuz its nots pulling any more channels than my 1.1m triax, :-DOH!
 
There's someone else on here receiving it in Ireland on a 1.1m. I think they are more south east than you though. Wait for the new bird to light up at that position - maybe it will be stronger.
 
they cant be getting it, id say there getting the euro beam and thats it, is the sat a bigger and more powerful sat to provide more tps for the nordic regions??
 
Hi there.I managed to improve the signal by tweaking the dish signals are now .5% - 1% stronger Mbc Action is now 82.5% on 26 east bbc world is now 87.3% on 1 west fox movies is now 78% on 7 west viasat extra pl 1 is now 80% on 5 east vh1 classic is now 87.3% on 19 east al jazeera is now 90% on 30 west .:-beer
 
Decided to change dish over from 1.2 mtr to 1mtr Gibertini .The 1.2 mtr had been up for long enough and was starting to get rusty on top of dish . Great signal only lost 1% - 2% on 1mtr compared to 1.2mtr. mbc action 26 east 81.3% stv 28 east 92% sky news 1 west 85.3% fox movies 7 west 76.5%002.webp003.webp004.webp
