I was looking at that and thought 'wow that's seriously cranked over', wonder what he's watching?.

Then I saw the caption on your tv.
Because that's a VERY good signal level for Cubavision on PAS9.
I can only just lock it up on my dish from where I am. :o

Crumbs, you can pull in PAS 9, not bad going, I could see that the dish was ponting to the extreme West. :)

I can only dream of that range of sats :(

Nice setup jakenl

Hi, i'm not too far away from you and this is my set up on 58* west, I thought that the second picture would remind you of something:) .

Hi HB. Ah, the tower.

Only had a look around up there when I went to a meeting. Preferred working at sea level myself.

Used to be called the Post Office Tower. They shouldn't have changed the name of such a landmark. After all, the (Prince) Albert Hall hasn't changed its name. Philip Hall, anyone?

Can't see anything over 50ish West as my garage is in the way. Could stick a dish on the garage, but it'd overlook the rear access to my house, where local miscreants from a nearby estate practice stone throwing at any likely targets.

Forgot to mention earlier, nice set up. Well done in getting 61*west. That will be my next job after I have run a Manhattan Plaza ST100 through it's paces for my brother, might even be later tonight.

I think that changing names is one of the later day fads, plenty of money spent/wasted. I think, to our generation, it will always be the Post Office Tower.
Agreed about the young bar stewards, round here they used my 1.25m as target practice with golf balls. Removed it for safety reasons, did not want damage to my or neighbours property of persons. I even had to drop down to 85cm in the end. My neighbours and myself are letting our hedges grow higher this year. Golf balls bouncing off of roofs is a lesser evil than them breaking windows or clouting one of us whilst in the garden. They even end up on the other side of the close in peoples front gardens. Large notices at each entrance to the park, "No Golf To Be Played".
I've lost 53*east since the trees grew foliage, will get it back again in the autumn.

Hi Finally got round to looking for this satellite, as you mentioned no picture but information about transponder strength and quality. 85cm dish and my trusty old Technomate 5000DA.
Cheers H-B

@ Happy-Buddah,

Nice to see that you managed to get it too. :-clap1

As you see, no picture (yet) but now this sat is stored in the memory of the Manhattan.
Who knows what stuff will come towards us in the future from Latin America....O-Ha
