My UK setup (plus webcam!)

Here's my current UK setup with a new multi-LNB bracket I recently got off eBay.

90cm dish with 1°W (centre), 4.8°E and 9/10°E. (photo 1 & 2)
60cm dish for 13°E (bottom of photo 3)
45cm dish for 19.2°E (middle of photo 3)
60cm dish for 28.2°E (top of photo 3)

All LNBs are fed through an EMP-Centauri 8 way DiSEqC switch and then on to a Technomate TM6900. A separate feed from 28.2°E also goes to a Sky box, plus another feed off 1°W goes to a Canal Digital box.

The 45cm dish is slightly obscured by the LNB of the dish above it but to be honest it doesn't seem to be a problem, even when it's raining hard, and it needs a bit of height to clear a bush in front of the dish anyway.

I'm contemplating trying to squeeze another LNB on the 90cm dish for 13°E and moving the lower 60cm dish to 23.5°E.

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that most of the dishes are scraps I've got for free, just the LNBs have been replaced over the years. The AerSat dish however was bought in South Africa about 12 years ago and I brought it back with me on the plane much to the amusement of the ground staff.
 
Excellent timo. A nice selection of satellites. Might be tricky adding one for 13E on the 90cm dish, can't you use 4.8E as the centre LNB?

I did think about that, but the dish hasn't moved in about 10 years so might need a bit of wd40 to shift some of the bolts. 1W is also the main interest and it does already suffer a bit during heavy rain on a few of the weaker Thor 6 transponders so decided to leave it for now.
 
It's been a while since I've done anything with my UK setup so while the weather has been good I've moved things about.

The wooden mount for the 60cm dish for 13°E rotted away (lasted 10 years, can't complain) so I cleaned it all up and moved it to the steel pole and removed the old mini dish that was there. The top dish is for Sky and the bottom is the "new" dish for 19.2°E (eventually it'll also be for 23.5°E too when I bring some spare slim LNBs back from Finland).

On the the 90cm dish centred on 1°W I managed to squeeze an extra LNB for 13°E on the end. Reception is as good as it was on the old 60cm although I did find I got a better signal if I twisted the metal LNB holder bar so the LNB is looking a bit higher than other others. Not sure why it works but it does.

Hey, Timo - where is your "permanent" residence? You have nice photos of Lapland on Flickr. Having spent a week there last winter watching the Aurora, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else...

I spend six months in Finland and six months in the UK at the moment. Longer term plan is to spend more time in Helsinki.

I've seen some great aurora in Lapland too. I've been very tempted to spend a year up in Lapland and see all the seasons fully. Maybe one day...
 
What happened to the webcam?
