Yes I've just done one using the plugin, do not try to edit it just burn the complete file.

It crashed for me too. This isn't the first thread here to mention this. meagain123, are you refering to the plugin thats built in to BH09, or did you install another plugin ?

i found it easy to to use dcc to transfer file to pc.then use videoredo to burn dvd and works fine in any dvd player.
nabilo always crash when you press burn dvd

Well yes, we can all use a PC burning application, but having a DVD burner tool that doesn't seem to work as intended (with the apparent exception of poster meagain123 if that's what he is using) seems absurd. I have asked about this problem on other forums, but I'm usually met with a dead end.

I found the problem..;)

The problem is not with the plugin Burn to DVD plugin but with the plugin cutlist editor.!
If you try to burn to DVD from the movie list menu it will attempt to launch the cutlist editor first so you can edit the video if needed. This will crash e2.

Instead..
1-Start from the plugins list and select Burn to DVD.
2-In settings select what you want to do. ( I selected burn to DVD). save it and go back to the initial page to add a file.
3- Click on ADD a FILE ( green button) and the video list will pop up. move the up and down cursor to the film you want to burn but DON'T click the OK button as this will crash e2, instead click add ( green button). add other videos if required provided there is enough space on DVD.
4- Click on the record button (lowest right) and it will start!! a small info window will show a progress bar and an option to select an action once the burn is finished . use the right cursor to move between options.( go to standby- deep standby-nothing).You can also hide this screen. I selected go to standby but it didn't happen. if you hide the screen there is no way to see the progress bar again( I could be wrong).
5-You can watch TV normally while the burn is taking place in the background. when the burn is finished an info screen will pop to announce your success. :)

I could not eject the disc once this was over. I downloaded a plugin called "Eject DVD" and used it, or just restart your hardware.

I burned two SD movies on 1 disc (4 GB) in 2 hours from start to finish.
Have not tried HD video yet. but a 2 hours film in HD is about 9 GB, for that you need a dual layer blank disc.

Hope this helps.

Cheers for that Replay. I may have got as far as that at an earlier session (not clicking OK and adding other items) but these were HD movies, which, as you say, need dual layer discs which I don't have.

I'll transfer the HD files to my PC and try again with just SD files on the HDD.

I know DMM completed some work on those plugins. The next version of Nabilosat Black Hole will come with an updated CVS, including the latest fix by DMM.

Stay tuned :)

Thanks for that Deep. Will wait and see what transpires.

sammmy, sorry I can't help you in this one.
Which image are you using? I would reinstall and update the drivers.
Maybe others can pinpoint the cause of your problem.
Good luck.

Works like a dream replay...tks m8

Yes the plugin in BH09, I've used it twice the first time I tried to edit it and got the green screen but by just burning it it worked ok. The second time was in response to the original post. Having gone back to the DVD to check it I find that the second DVD contains the audio description sound track also but this was not present on the first. I agree it's unreliable and not easy to use, the plugin needs sorting. I only did the two DVDs to see if it worked. The best option at present would appear to edit and burn to DVD using a PC. Sorry for the delay in repying.

At the moment this is very true.
I tried to burn a film to DVD, but few minutes during the demux process I aborted the operation using the red cancel option. Then I tried to burn another film, once the operation was over, the result was a coaster with the first attempt's film title!
It appears that unfinished processes are not properly deleted or something ..

Ok this worked for me thanks!

However there was no audio! Picture was perfect is there something simple that can solve this problem im using BH V11.

HAs anybody found a solution to the audio problem. I succeded in burning a DVD with Nabilo 0.11 but there is no audio. I have used a slimline Panasonic Blu RAy burner. But I burned a simple DVD.
