Start of the new guessing game, some will be easy, some will be ridiculously hard.:)

I'll post anything from a couple of notes to a couple of bars, some of them will jog your memories and you'll want to hear the whole thing, they did when I recorded them for this thread.:)

1st Tune

2nd Tune

3rd Tune

1st Tune - 'Hi Ho Silver Lining'?

Now this is much more difficult. Got to get you into my Life?

2nd Tune : 'Bad Moon Rising' - Creedence Clearwater Revival

3rd Tune : 'I'm a Believer' - The Monkees.

Yes Pete, correct on 2nd and third, 1st not correct Paul and Pete.:)

Ist tune sounds like the intro to the Beatles' Good Day Sunshine.

First one: "Good Day Sunshine" by The Beatles (SWMBO says)

Edit: Snap!

4: "Under The Boardwalk"

#4 - 'Happy Jack' - The Who

#5 - 'Jumping Jack Flash' - Stones

#6 - 'I say a Little Prayer' - Dionne Warwicke (not so sure about this one)

Out of all of those, number 5 is correct as Brown Sugar.:)

6: "Say A Little Prayer"

(Sorry for the multiple Posts, but people are being so quick!)

Pete: Aretha Franklin was the main protagonist, IIRC.

You are right, Aretha had the hit, but Dionne recorded it a year previously.

(We were both wrong anyway!!)
