Only a week since we saw our first: Pics in due course ...................

Other gems will include Sardinian Warbler.
Plenty of teasing from this one hey????

Sorry for the delay:

My attempts at manipulating SWMBO's pics are not too hot, so please forgive my incompetence!

Looks like a Whinchat.:) Nice shots. :)

Thanks - she's getting better at this!

PS: I've just Resized that first batch too, and added a Hoopoe.

That first butterfly and the dragonfly.....exceptional sir, great detail.

SWMBO is swelling with pride!

PS: The first Flutterby is a Swallowtail.

My sis is into butterflies big time, she would know but alas i am a muppet! o_O

Is picasa some linux software you use for image processing,i havent heard of it?

Windows and Linux, it's a photo organiser software.

Yep.

Google (who created it) no longer support it for Linux, but ('cos Linux is so adaptable) there are ways and means!

I see its no longer supported for us,i was just curious.

I have got it running under Mint, but haven't succeeded in installing it under Crunchbang: Gimp is the main Linux Photo Suite these days.

Or you can download the GIMP, much more sophisticated.

Yep. Got Gimp too (On our Crunchbang Lappie): Far too many bells and whistles for my taste! But it has a very good reputation among the cognoscenti and the adept.

I know a guy with an art studio in Skye who uses Gimp. Funny thing is i get called a gimp at work.

Aurora again in Helsinki the other night fighting the light pollution plus a plane got in the way... (someone has already asked why I ruined the photo by drawing a line across it!)

So why do you draw a line across it then........ Its a great shot, even the glow from the lights looks cool.

Try to correct the exposure ( glare from lighting ) or crop with photoshop or other photo prog.
