Hello
This is my first post here and dont know if im on correct thread but i think i am :)
Im searching for channels/feeds or smthing just to test my reciever (edision os mini) that cames with montage tuner that supports 16 and 32 apsk but since now i have make many scans from 16e-24.5w and cant get any channel or feed or data transponder that lock the signal and im wondering if montage tuner supports or not 16/32 apsk.
So if any1 can help me here it will be great.
If any1 can post some frequensies that have signal from any satellite it will be very helpfull

Nice to be here in your great forum.
Best regards Dr.Dream

Hello analoguesat
I dint say im new in this great forum but that was my first post...all past time was reading(hmmm 8 yrs reading) :)
Any way i have search and i find may feeds that posted here but none work so i think that my montage tuner not support 16/32 apsk.
To be sure i ask here if any1 have a working feed/channel that works now or works all day to post it here so i can test on sat/freq that its sure works than to try it and if not works on me to make conclusion that my tuner not support them.
The most feeds i find on my search was inactive today cause was pass many days fom working day

All members are most welcome - regular posters or not. :)

You may have more luck at the weekend when more members are around as its a fairly specialised area of research.

However keep checking back as someone will be able to give you a live sighting at some point :)

Hi, It took me ages to find anything using a TBS6983 but in the end I found a couple of 16APSK feeds. I think most of the APSK TPs are data. Any that use variable coding are very hard to get anything from. However, you can get the odd flash of video or audio if you RX locks briefly on one coding type.
I found some by checking Feeds TV par satellite forums fréquences et images - Satelliweb and entering apsk
There's a good post by satesco here: TBSDTV Community Forum • View topic - TBS6983 16 & 32APSK problems

In Satelliweb , we also have a dedicated thread: ... Forum feeds TV par satellite - Satelliweb • Afficher le sujet - 16APSK Feed

16APSK feed are usually used for SSR @ 8°W, BFM @ 24.5°W , BBC @ 16°East (and other positions)
Also 16APSk is much usually use in NS3, nut that's another story.

But as other members says, most of the 16APSk or 32APSK are DATA in GS or TS

Good luck.

Thank you both for answers....im not interested to see picture i just want to test my tuner if can get 16/32apsk even if its data i think will lock on signal correct?
I have try many-many freq but none lock's signal so maybe my tuner just says that support 16/32apsk but i think only says that and not true.:(
BTW my tuner is FTS-260(montage rs6000)(DVB-S2) and its the second tuner on edision OS mini(S2+S2) that i have for tests

Data TPs will normally lock, however, it's only a guess but maybe your tuners have trouble with the ACM that is on most APSK TPs. EBSPro will display one of the coding methods at random when it does a blind scan. Crazyscan can tell you all coding methods used - but that's probably not much help to you. If you can find a clean continuous APSK coded TP you may have more luck. Keep an eye on Satilliweb's information.

@drdreamer

There are also active feeds in 16APSK @ 23.5°E, but I am not sure that is easy to lock this satellite from Greece

23.5°E
12710 V 4800 3/4
12715 V 3600 3/4
12735 V 7200 3/4

This sat is easy with my dish and i have strong signal
I will check now and i report in a few mins if i have luck :)

Edit: I see that coding mode is CCM but i think in my case that i dont want to see picture is it possible to lock?
Or need the tuner to support ccm coding mode?

Well my friends i can confirm that the above freq on 23.5e was that i was looking for :)
I have signal lock on all with 16apsk
On first two i had only sound and on 3rd one i had picture with noise and i guess that was the coding mode that i think my receiver not support (vvc)

Here are two ss taken from my phone cause i had a small network problem and i take a quick photo from phone just to show you.

Many thanks to all and i hope to get more feeds and post them to help others

Yah - great news :)

Maybe someone could start a thread in the transponders section to keep all the info together about currently active frequencies on one thread.?

Here is a 16APSK that my TM5502HD found ignore the Quality bar as the receiver had moved on when I took this snap shot.

DSCN1259[1].webp

This is a data feed so nothing to see unfortunately,

The TM5502HD receiver can only find 16APSK so if it was possible to view the receiver is not capable but if I find anything that you may be able to view I will post it here if I can find this thread o_O

Hello william and thank you
It will be great if you can find more active freq for 16 apsk :)
I will keep the thread up to find it easy :)
@Analoguesat where is the proper place to make new thread only for 16/32apsk feeds and freq?

Regards Dr.Dream

Does the Edison OS mini decode 4.2.2 feeds ?
