network stopped working .. help

What could be wrong with the network interface on my Dreambox?
I'm no longer getting an IP address from dhcp (linksys router) after rebooting Nabilosat. It was working fine for weeks. I verified the network connection with a laptop. I also tried the built in Wifi interface but that was the same.
I restart and reboot but always the IP address is N/A.

I'm lost without being able to telnet into the box.
How can I look at the syslog from the menus for errors?

Hi I had the exact same problem on my 8000 the other day, what i did was flash it with the original dreambox firmware from the site then set up the wireless on it and save it as a back up then loaded my nabillo 12 on it and restore settings, wireless worked again

Thanks for the reply. I had trouble reflashing it with a null modem cable but I did manage to use the web interface to update to the latest Dream Elite image. I now believe the 8000 has a problem using WEP against a linksys 354G router. I can successfully connect either open or with WPA. The wired network problem might be down to me having to use homeplug AV.
Anyway I'm hoping WPA is the way to go.

I'm nearly there. I had a stable connection using WPA for several weeks. The only trouble I found is sometimes my video recordings stutter. I've put more memory in my NAS and made a few performance tweaks.
Last night I upgraded the DB firmware to BH Elite 133B. I couldn't get wireless to work at all with WPA and Enigma started to crash scanning for wifi networks.
However Homeplug AV is working very well in this release.
I plan to move to Gigabit Ethernet in the near future for maximum speed and stability.
