This shows that the code for neumodvb that you have is the correct one. You have to compile it of course.

Could someone with better linux knowledge point me in the right direction with this "ambiguous" error as I ran out of the options.

I have update neumodvb and this problem is hopefully gone. Note that pybind11 is no longer included with neumodvb
and should be installed separately (e.g., pybind11-dev or something like that)

I'm not sure if error 1 is related to the one mentioned above (I don't think so), but after trying to update neumoDVB, I encountered error 1(Makefile:789).
After installing pybind11-dev, I get the same error.

I haven't encountered any errors either when installing neumoDVB, nor with the updates I've done so far.
I provide you with the files to analyze this problem.

Seems to be a problem with ubuntu being a bit outdated.

Perhaps it can be fixed by updating cmake or by removing the line "cmake_policy(SET CMP0167 NEW)"
from neumodvb/CMakeLists.txt
 
Thanks for the solution. I was able to restore neumoDVB by removing the cmake_policy(SET CMP0167 NEW) file, and start the application.
The first test I did was at 5.0W, but unfortunately, neumoDVB crashed.
Even after being updated, neumo remained at version 1.7. How to install v 1.9?

I'm on 24.04.2 LTS.

Good for at least 5 years' updates.
 
It doesn't even scan the channel

I've updated to the most recent neumodvb commits in Fedora and Manjaro as well as Ubuntu, and each OS dumps neumodvb when I scan a mux channel in DVB-S or T. I thought it might have been a problem with the current Manjaro I'm testing (each OS uses different kernel versions, possibly not relevant)


@deeptho

My neumo log throws an error around the point where I attempt a channel scan. The Console shows the same lines.

Hmm. Interesting. I have the same problem using the TBS5927 since the last neumodvb update. As the TBS6903X scans the spectrum OK, I initially suspected the tuner, but I checked it with Crazyscan and it's fine scanning there.

Perhaps @deeptho could check the log if he has a minute or two.

Spectrum peaks are now identified in Manjaro with a new install (previously missing). Unfortunately trying a blindscan or a frequency check, neumodvb shuts down - obviously due to the current issue I have with the latest neumodvb update in each of my distros.

Not sure what you mean satesco. Just git cloned the media and neumo_media_build on deeptho's github.
