You probably mean Ubuntu 24.04.2
neumodVB can be installed and work on Ubuntu 24.04.3

oscam is working (shows in webif), but scanning the muxes doesn't provide the necessary channels, so I need to check my oscam configs.

Another try with an Abertis mux. Sound OK, but problems with video. CPU is maxing out on this other muxes I've tried.
Will need to try the transmissions on my better equipped laptop.

Non-HD channels i.e. on 10770H have the same video problem, either missing or broken up with or without oscam on. They were OK before I started trying the Arbertis muxes, but it may be a problem with this old PC. I will have a try with the app on the laptop.

Weird artefacts on the Paramount Network on 12548V. The black diamond-like shapes are static as the film plays.

Radeon HD Graphics, (not card, onboard).

Video absent now in live screen, but a .ts file is playing OK in neumo > live.

xorg. I have the choice when logging in to use Wayland or Cinnamon (my desktop) I've never chosen Wayland.

In Terminal, echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE gives me x11, which AFA!K is xorg.

I'll try some other muxes in ABERTIS for any other clues as to the strange behaviour.

Better success with the PC originally used, but this time with the correct server numbering in neumodvb preferences - I used my Hub number instead of the PC's ( the same final two digits, but t'other way round )

You could check if the latest version of neumodvb of today makes a difference for this screen corruption. Not sure that it will.

Tried with the latest update. No video as before with that channel on that PC, so I suspect a graphics problem, as you suggest.

On the PC that I posted the mosaic from 11222H, I also have a problem with the Paramount Network mux (12548V) where, although the key is decrypted, no services are found. Scan result stays at Partial, and the other two pid results show OK but no services are found. Other muxes are finding the services easily enough.

I find that mux on 30W something of a problem with my setup. Maybe an LNB or cable issue, although signal quality seems good enough.

Note that some of the advertised keys may be wrong. If you press ctrl-o you can see whether reception is ok.

It's usually consistent reception, around 11dB on most of the 30W muxes. I'll check 12.548V again as soon as I move my dish back to 30W. Thanks.

Still difficult to receive 12548V streams. Down to 9.4dB this evening.

Checking the two weaker muxes at the high end, better luck with 12760V, although only two of the available streams receivable.

Will align 30W on another dish in due course.

I would like to know if there is an HEVC codec that can be installed and used on Linux, so that such images appear in a normal format, for example, as they do on Windows.
