New 7020 beginners trouble

PC XP Lan connection to DB7020 through Netgear Router, 1M Motor dish

I have two beginners hurdles to overcome before I can load Genini image;
DB 7020 with Factory Image 1.2.0

a)The USB stick formatted OK in DB viaTelnet. However, when executing mount /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc/var/mnt/usb - the disc is not found...
What do I do wrong?

b)I am trying to copy 'Dreamflash' to var/tuxbox/plugins using 'SmartFTP'.
In the DB there is no subfolder 'plugins' under tuxbox, and 'SmartFTP' does not allow adding a subfolder to drag the 'Dreamflash files' to.
What options are avaliable to copy the Dreamflash files to the right file in the DB in order to install the new image onto a USB stick or HDD via the remote?
 
Mount the USb from the BOX

and download dreamflash (also) from the box :-sugar
 
Thanks DD (och tjena från en norrbagge i England) - a most interesting proposition.
But, where and what commands go in the DB to mount and downlaod?
I've tried varios opions but with no success.
Greatful for help!

Get yourself a copy of FlashWizard Pro 6.3. It makes life MUCH easier.
 
Wow, that worked. What a a nice little tool!
Obviously I had a USB problem, (aborting someway during the install, and had to revert to HDD), but this was fun..... I'll get a new USB stick to retry.

Now next preoject is to ionstall a cam..... Same tool?
 
No Blue,--> 2--> download & install.

You can install most cams from here, Evocmd is a good one.

Then ftp the keys over using a ftp programme.

Although remember not much is open at the moment
