For that price, I'd want more than one tuner.
 
It does have a HDMI in port, which is unusual. Is this to allow you to record from another HDMI source, onto an internal hard drive?
 
Nice to see that DMM are still overpricing their kit and comletely pricing themselves out the market. I think i'll just wait for the clone to come out :-lmao

It is probably an HDMI switch (2x1).

If the TV has only one external port HDMI, you connect the DB820 in this and the tuner will connect the DVD or a game console.
At the time the DB7020Si had a similar entry (with 2 SCART in/out), allowed switch the tuner with an external video source and watch this on TV.

Seguramente sea un conmutador HDMI (2x1).

Si la TV solo tiene un puerto externo HDMI, conectas la DB820 en este y al sintonizador le conectas el DVD o una consola de juegos.
En su momento la DB7020Si tenia una entrada similar (con 2 Euroconectores in/out), permitia conmutar el sintonizador con una fuente externa de video y ver esta en la TV.
 
450 European smackers?! You can get a Solo2 for far less than that!

And what is "Dreambox-OS"? Does that mean no more custom E2 images?
 
That can't be right, 450euro for single tuner receiver.

Be better off buying a v+ duo 2 or something else.
