Apparently, this is the new 7080HD Dreambox, which runs "Goliath". If this is true, I wonder how successful it will be...


Hope it comes in a case of some sort...

Don't think this runs the 'Goliath' project.....Booting is very fast though....20 secs

Dream Multimedia have already stated they are no longer releasing open sourced firmware for their receivers. That will be the death knell for this box just as it was for the DM100. Open Pli have already stated they will not be supporting any of DMMs new boxes.

To be honest i think it will be just more of the same over priced tat that DMM think people are stupid enough to buy. There are receivers that are just as good if not better that sell for a lot less money than stuff that DMM make that run open source software.

DMMs arrogance will cost them sales. If your firmware is not open source then it will not be supported by the bigger image teams.

I hope it bites them on the arse.
