Both carry working English soundtracks where the material carries it

Still haven't got around to acquiring a Tivu box.

Still, if the Channel offering continues to improve ......

Sadly SWMBO cannot perceive the difference!

I shall get her some new ocular batteries.
 
The UK prices have come right down in the last year or so

You've just reminded me that I totally forgot to look for a cheap box while we were in Tuscany recently :-doh
 
More HD channels & a rearrangement of the muxes to allow for their launches overnight, so many of the SD channels moved:



Rai News 24 HD - 11766V
Rai Gulp HD - 11013H
Rai Yoyo HD - 11013H
Rai Scuola HD - 11013H
Rai Storia HD - 11766V


I make it 14 HD channels now available in the package - plus apparently an occasional 4k channel if you have the right kit to watch it.

Same problem here - I often get "quite irritated" when SWMBO records Sky programmes in SD when the same are being broadcast in HD. Even worse when I have already put the HD version in HD, but she then puts the SD version on record at the same time as well!

Batteries are not an option because she has cataracts but just uses ordinary specs.
 
It gets worse .... SWMBO likes to activate Subtitles owing to her inability to listen .....

I don't have a rx that will accommodate the Card and Cam, but when the time comes, we'll pick up a Tivusat box dire t from Italy, as we go there fairly often and have family there.
 
Still got the Skybox F3 and SWMBO uses the original Foxsat HD!

The question about getting Tivusat to work with the F3 always ends up at "no".

It's not an issue for now, as everything SWMBO watches on Rai is FTA anyway. No doubt that will change in the future, but we'll cross that pont when we get to it.
 
Does 11393V MotorTrend HD have an English audio track? Seem to remember on the 5 west multistream it was Italian (&SD) only but FlySat & KingofSat suggest it does.

Thanks. I can't check for myself as I don't have a Tivusat card. Just because a sound track is tagged as English does not guarantee it carries English audio :)
