New Inverto KaKu lnb

If such a LNB is not available, is it possible to transfer Saorsat LNB to receive 16E-7E channels ? If there is a way please inform me.

Hi , if there is anyone who sells Inverto KA/KU we can make a deal . Please send me P.M. and we will arrange the price and shipping.

Anybody willing to sell one will advertise it in the "for sale" section of the forum. We have strict rules about this - we dont want to interfere with sales but to make sure we know exactly whats been offered and the price agreed. Then you take it to pm to exchange addresses and payment details.

This is only to protect seller & buyer - many years ago we had a few problems with one or two sales leading to bad feeling and a couple of people were removed from the forum for causing trouble.

Different frequency range so the innards would need re-engineering.

Time to visit this thread again...
I had one of these Inverto Ku/Ka in stock so decided to see how it performed on the 1.8 PF dish..
Chopped off the original feedhorn and replaced it with a C120 flange off a dud LNB...
The results are surpisingly good on Ka, and Ku..
Another creation that seems to work well..P1010006.webpP1010007.webp16 1.webp16 2.webp

Very nice work, congratulations.
By cons, I am surprised by the number of dB on both photos.
EdenTV 21542 H 1071 9.5dB
Impact TV 21563 H 1010 16.50dB
I believe with an antenna PF of 1.80m

on my side with a 1.20 Offset
2154 H 1071 9.8dB
21563 H 1010 16.8dB.
with the same Ka / Ku Lnb from Inverto.
The KA KU LNB seems to be at the focal point on your photo.
Why do I have the same result as you (a little bit better by the way) you should have more dB.

Hi Stephen

I think you are more in the footprint for Ka off 16E. here in the UK the beams are quite a bit weaker. the LNB also don't forget does not have the original feedhorn so that well might cause a bit of loss. Ku is booming in nicely..
My location is nearly on the edge of the 48dBw ringdxsatcs-com-eutelsat-16a-16-e-ka-band-reception-frequency-europe-c-downlink-coverage-footprin...webpdxsatcs-com-eutelsat-16a-16-e-ka-band-reception-frequency-europe-c-downlink-coverage-footprin...webp

You are absolutely right,
I had forgotten this detail of the footprint.
I compare my results more often with people from continental Europe where the difference is minimal, but obviously with you it's different.
Your results are really good.:-clap

Something similar I have solved with the flange also.

Just blind scanned 16E Ka with the Octagon SF8008 and it found transponders just 1MHz apart...16E Ka.webp

Nice scanning scopus :)

21540H may well be Eden at 21542H - unless it's moved.

Hi Llew

Eden is still on that transponder....Eden TV.webp

OK, cheers. I was looking at your earlier post where you had it at 10542H (couldn't check myself at the mo).

Conditions seem pretty good tonight for Ka reception, i keep 'humming and haring' over these new 4K receivers but can't make my mind up which one would suit my needs.
Here's my scan of 16°E just now - 1.2 Gibby / Modded Gilat lnb / 6903 pc card.

Hello ,
very good result,
but that I can also get with the MIO4K without problem, whether on the 16 ° east or the 7 ° east.

For comparison, Gilat 20.05GHz LO, Band D, Prodelin 1.2m, TBS6983. I cheated a bit by not using blind scan for a couple, inc. Radio Imaculée Conception

TPs found tonight with updateDVB. (Three TPs opened in found list to check SQ)

21543H parsed.

TBS 6983, TBS 6522 shown incorrectly in screenshot. Gibby 1.25M dish, titular LNBF.

.. My 6903 card on a pc for Ka using EBSPro will not lock onto 21.543 or 21.564 for some reason, and signals are pretty high - I'll have a card swap around later and try my 6983 card what i use for Cband to see what that makes of them.

I'll try my 6903 card. My 6983 locks 21.543 only if I manually enter the SR in Crazyscan and untick Blindscan. In EBSPro, it locks OK, but no video in VLC.

Doesn't find 21.564 in Crazyscan or EBSPro even manually entering details, although I have found it when signals are better. No problems for either TPs in updateDVB.

Edit: Tried the 6903, acts similar to the 6983.

I had to manually acquire 21.534, 21.542 & 21.564 but re-scanning would sometimes get one of those but not another. Sometimes it would only get 60-70% of channels using CS (not tried other s/w) The hardest was Radio Immac which always takes a few tries. Changing the frequency by a few hundred kHz often fixes it. The LNB is only 100kHz out so it's the card (6983) that responsible for the displayed freq error.
