Well we had a few ups and downs earlier, but the right result in the end!


Are you using the new Default Style or the even newer Default Full?

the new Default Style

I must try them both on SWMBO's Laptop: Been on my Netbook this afternoon and the smaller screen really benefits from the "Full" style.

Too cold in her study to go try the Laptop now. Maybe tomorrow!

Default full is nice - Ive just switched over to that one - I like the wider columns.

The standard default just wasted too much space. And I HATED that picture in the background that jittered as you moved up and down. Couldn't wait to change to the standard full with its comforting familiarity.

On the login screen is a tick box for those wishing to stay logged in.

And if, when logged in, you scroll to the very bottom of the page, there is a style chooser link that for you will simply say Default. Press that then select Default Full.

The default design with the photo background just about stalled Firefox on my aging single CPU P4 with onboard graphics but switched to full and everything is good again.

I suspect he hasn't ticked the box. No such issue for me.

Have you checked the "Keep me logged in" box on the login screen?
