New layout to the forum

Unfortunately the mobile website does not format as before, looks like the desktop site, normally gives mobile site on same device.

"Recent posts" button also moved on the nav bar under forums, was second I think.

Ah thats interesting coz my old Dell 5150 locked up solid at about that time. No response to Ctrl+Alt+Del so had to kill it using the button on the front. No idea if it was the style causing the problems,

Running tickety boo again tho now.
 
In the process of starting a new thread and I got the following overlay window announcing Error 522, Connection timed out. Never had anything like that before. And no idea what CloudFlare is.

I'm going to try just closing the window and see if everything is OK.

Using Win 8.1 with Classic Shell and IE 11.

EDIT. Closed the window and it was if nothing had happened. Curious.
 
I've had a full page like that, and the one you have above Paul, the one you've had happened to me when replying to a thread using a quote.
 
Ditto yesterday, but can't recall exactly what I was trying to do at the time.
 
All should be OK again now, That error is designed to deliver web pages from cache during a server problem.

ad same problem wth CloudFlare, hope it is gone now.
But why am I looking at the edges of what surely is RimanTSS SAT playground??
 
Go to the bottom of the page, click on "Default", then click on "Default Full".

All will be well.

I also did not like that picture- antennas, according to mine classification, are too small (not even antennas) :rolleyes:
I've tried to log-out from forum, but picture was still there. So, than I went to "Default Full" version. Much better now :)
 
All going swimmingly this morning. The Forum is as fast as it's ever been right now :)

No complaints so far about the look or functionality of the update ...
But I do have an issue that's causing me much annoyance.
Because the forum now has an image underneath that fills the PC screen ....with a resulting border ...the actual forum screen is smaller in the middle..
This may be OK for the younger members who are used to getting their data fix on a mobile phone ..
But for Old timers such as me with degraded eyesight ...everything that is actually relevant is scaled down...ie smaller.
Not good for those with bad eyes ...of which I am one.

Bringing back this thread thread because when using the mobile site (not tried desktop) I have noticed the top bar now follows me when I scroll the page, can I turn this off?

This has caused much discussion in the Mod's section. There are some who like the new arrangement but, of those who have expressed a preference, most don't. An acceptable compromise would be an option to turn it off but we haven't heard anything yet.

Stay tuned...
 
Well for me its fine, it saves scrolling to the top of the page to get back to the menu, but it does not scroll down the page it just stays there, using windows 8.1 on my laptop.
