New Look

Confused i am just look at my hair!!
 
I can attach in to the new set up thread- is it because photos are allowed in this thread and not this one. If i click on more reply options on this thread the attach option isnt there bottom left?
 
I think that what is permitted in this Announcements Section is probably limited as compared to a "normal" Section.
 
Oh thats fine then,i have come across similar when on other forums in the past. just never twigged. :-comp
 
Ok will check permissions when I get back in, I may have disabled attachments for this section, as normally it is for members who are not logged in.

I also notice that I am able to click on the 'Like This' button on my own posts... surely this can't be right...?

Now that I've had a few days to get used to the 'new look' I must say I do like it. There's useful features in the 'view new content' section (unless they were there before and I just didn't know LOL) but overall it gets my vote.
 
Yeah,problems have been ironed out quite quick i think. Good service really from the moderators has helped. I like it (even though a forum is a forum to me,i find it hard to get overenthusiastic about them,though they are a great invention). Without this forum my knowledge of sat related stuff would be very low and resigned to sniffing about on websites. Much better to get the information from learned ones in the know!
 
Anyway to bring back the post info to the left when browsing through forums, its intacted when signed out but is missing signed in.

Sorry meant right. It is also the same in the forum sections themselves.

Thats probably one of the add ons Chris will need to reinstall.
 
Hey guys,

All taking shape now. I still have a grumble about email notifications, where I get an email for every reply rather than a single email and waits until after I viewed to thread to send me another one.

Already get enough spam :(

I don't think I get multiple email, maybe a setting somewhere in your profile?
