Quite possibly - there's a whole raft of Notification Preferences available under User >> Settings now.

Try that, and let us know. I have edited community preferences setting in your profile. It was set to on.
 
Thanks satelliteman. Which setting did you turn off? I had a "auto-follow topics I reply to" set to on, that's off now but cannot see any community settings there (still finding my way around).
 
Setting is in admin panel not available to members.
All your email notification settings are the same as mine.
 
After you made the change, I had no notifications at all. Had to turn it back on.

Another thing... in notification emails, I cannot click on the thread link. The unsubscribe link is also not clickable. This, however, doesn't apply to every single email - some have working links, others don't (nothing to do with link disablers in email client)

Also, the formatting is a bit wonky. Top line is centred and bottom is left justified....
 
I've just changed the URL settings back to the original, it should repair the urls in the notifications.
 
When in "forums" the "Home" link at the top doesn't work - tries to direct you to http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/www.satellites.co.uk

Also, is there a manual or similar for IP.Board? I'd really like to know what various options do, especially in notifications.

It says at the bottom of the emails:

"If you have configured in your control panel to receive immediate topic reply notifications, you may receive an email for each reply made to this topic. Otherwise, only 1 email is sent per board visit for each subscribed topic."

Which is exactly what I want. However, turning off the immediate replies stops any mails coming in, so I'd like to know what other settings I need to set...

Will have another run through it, certainly put a lot of them back, but it takes a time, as they have to be downloaded, then re-uploaded one at a time.

The old board used to have a nice feature where the first few sentances of a topic would pop up if the mouse was hovered over the subject, have we lost that now?
 
Yes, but there is an alternative Preview Feature >>>> With your mouse on a Thread in eg a New Content list, you'll see a Down Arrow appear just to the right of the Thread Title: Click that and you get a Preview showing the First Post and the Most Recent Post.
