I am sorry to hear that Denis :unsure .... yes it is 1.8m plastic antenna (Poliship Canada, if I remember right), but it has never been CM and even more it is not Gregorian type. However, it can become Gregorian if you manage to attach the sub-reflector to it. :cool:

Yes, on the radical picture there is my 1.8m Channel Master antenna equipped with sub-reflector at the moment the picture was taken, that is why I labeled it "CM 1.8m Gregorian". But that is not the same dish you got. I am not saying the Canada Poliship is not a good one, it just not the CM one.

Hi manikm909 , yes i've 2 units VU+DUO with signal recception problems and i know the problem , I have found in other forums this note: change some capicitors ( c848 and c819 ) to get it to work.

I've also an VU+Solo broken, i can't see nothing, just an red diod in the front of the box.

And finally a VU+UNO 4K which switches off after 15 - 30 min. work .
Do you have any idea what's a problem ?

personally i wouldnt bother trying to fix the DUO's but everyone is different.
i sold my working one for 40 quid. if u can solder the new caps in, then maybe fix and sell
what do you do to your receivers? you dont put them in the dish washer do you>?

Sure manikm909, that's exactly what I want to do, i'll fix it and sell it then.
