Hi
I am based in england, i am new to sats my friend advises downloading a file to receive 1 degree west

i have a diablo cam2 and a motorized dish and receiver

what file do you recommend

Depends on what School you went to probably
 
You have to be more specific. The file you require for the diablo2 is underworld and hypnosis. I am afraid you cannot get any of these files here but google is your friend :) You have to point the dish to 1w and get digitv and you can also get premier on astra 19.2e

i have a 80cm dish driven by a technomate tm 2600 super drive
not sure what the receiver is i was given it by a friend < i know its working
my can is the diablocam 2 version H/Rev 3.9
i have loaded ipnosys 11
the receiver is not getting any channels
information
no signal or pmt
upgrade caids.xml

Do you receive any of the (few) FTA channels on 1W? For instance, U (Romania) or DDTV on 12643H SR 27500 FEC 3/4.

If no, you possibly need to check your dish alignment.
 
If the Diablo 2 is like the older Diablo cams you need to go into the configuration menu and turn Emulators to ON before anything will open.
 
Took my medicine and bought a technomate 6900, at least i know what im using now, Got a satellite guy in to setup dish, most things working struggling with 19.2 cant get it< i also want 28.2 but that is not in my satellite list.

Id be amazed if 28E isnt in the database list on your receiver - its been activated for well over 10 years.

They are co-located in reality and on a small dish both should scan as one and the same
 
are these channels now gone, i am using ipnosys 11 is that correct

Still on with Ipnosys 11. The DigiTV keys haven't changed for a while.

In your CAM configuration, make sure Emus ON, Emu Priority - 1. Emu 2. Cards

Have you loaded an updated keys bin file recently?
Check that N2 AU is turned OFF then check the keys via the menu options, if the keys are correct try removing and re-inserting the cam or re-booting your receiver.
If all else fails you might have to format your cam and start again.
Have you tried several channels in the Digi TV package?

is downloading keys difficult

You can find the keys, or the latest diablo keys.bin file, wherever you got the Ipnosys file from, if you put ipnosys011 in a search engine you should easily locate them, the last Digi TV keys are from 5th December 09.

Keys are STRICTLY forbidden on the forum so nobody can supply you with them here.
