Hi All.

I need your help!

Recently moved over to Baden-Baden, Germany, for a lucrative IT contract.

I just about managed to get my sky digibox, which I brought with me from the UK, to work with a dish that I bought here.

However, I've now been bitten by the HDTV bug after buying a JVC HDTV and Samsung Bluray player.

Today I purchased the Comag HD-S CI100 for 40 Euros, great price!

Sadly, its not plug and play like my Sky digibox and I don't know how to hack it to get BBC HD and ITV HD.....

I would appreciate if someone could explain to me in laymans terms how to get it up and running :confused:

I've read the thread from our Polish friend on VPID, APID, PCR and SID's but I'm unclear how to work this :eek:

Hi Robbo,

BBC HD was real easy in the end, after I updated the latest software from 24/7 on my Comag box.

As my dish was already pointed to the Astra2D, BBC HD came up automatically in the channel search will all other BBC, ITV, Sky and other channels, but not ITV HD.....

I will continue on Iggy's previous thread.

I have posted a work around for the comag receiver to update it with ITV HD/hd, and if you do the work around it can also find STV HD too, though STV HD is not always being transmitted and is currently being tested as far as I know... I hope you the best of luck with the comag..

I now have it hooked up to a HDD and often record HD tv which is second to non for the price you get the receiver for :)
