hi guys ,
i am very new to this.
i am planning to buy skystar2 usb. would i need a dish to recieve the channels.
i already have sky digital and a minidish , i live in the uk.

Yes, a dish would be helpful sylvester24, you need to decide what you want to watch first, then we can advise which satellite would be best to point at. :)

is there any other solution where i dont have to buy a satellite or use sky mini dish?.
i would have the satellite pointed at hotbird.

I believe that there are a couple of indian channels on Sky, but you will need a digibox and will need to subscribe.

i am subscribed to sky digital all the indian channels are pay channels. is there any way i can get them without having to pay for them.

do u know where can i find indoor satellites ( 60-80 cm) large enough to get signals from hotbird.

A 55cm would be just about OK, but bigger would be better, might be worth clicking on the Skystar advert at the top of the page, as Sateuropa their UK distributors do some nice dish kits

sateuropa have outdoor dish kits, do u know of any suppliers that do indoor dishes coz i havent got permission to put a dish outside.

a dish is a dish is a dish , just find a (make one) a bracket to mount it on TRIPOD ??
