Hey guys,

I have a quick query. Sorry if it has been asked a million times before! :-doh2

I work at a Golf Club near Hull, UK and we have never had Sky TV because we refuse to pay the £4000 per year which sky want (we are a very small club and it wouldn't be profitable at the moment - so we have freeview) so I am looking at what options are available to us with other companies so here are a few questions:

1. Is it illegal to get foreign satellite installed?
2. If not, what packages are available and how much do they cost?
3. Are there any other options?

Thanks in advance!

Alan

Thanks for the reply. I have had a quick read of that thread but I'm not sure I understand it fully, however I get the just an they are basically saying it is illegal.

We would be looking at Watching mainly golf (US PGA tour and European) but occasionally football matches if it helps!

I don't belive it is illegal to install a foreign Free to air satellite system for commercial purposes, but as you say, for pay services it is a different matter.
