Nice facelift

Hi Chris - just to let you know - page load speeds are back to normal with the reverted skin here in Galashiels. Most peculiar.
 
Can't you keep the new style logo up at all? I quite like that.... :(
 
Seems actually faster to me, and i love the new design! Well done

Chris has had to go out, but I'm sure he can put it back as user selectable, but not default until the problem is sorted.

I'm having no problems at all with the new style using Firefox, but is a little slow on initial loading if I use IE. Having said that, I have 6Mb downstream speed, so almost anything loads quickly.:)
 
Yap ! With the former skin, the loading of pages is back to normal (fast).

If its possible Id certainly prefer to keep this higher contrast skin (user selectable maybe like a few months back when we had a choice of skins) - its easier on my eyes than the new one

Main problems with the new one:

- I found the font too small & difficult to read in the reply boxes
- the pale blue reply boxes makes my eyes strain.
- the Submit Reply & Preview Post buttons merge into the background too much
 
It was just the enormous limited format google box that did me in, having to scroll down the page to get to the forums. A choice of two would be good I think.

Chris - Thank you for giving us the choice of skins again. Ive switched back to "Classic New" one, although the minty test one is quite nice too.

Sorry guys but the 2 skins is just a temporary measure until i get the new skin fixed then the classic new will get deleted.

I like this wider version of the new skin - and it's going at a good speed :)
